慈幼會會士麥先(Maksim Ryabukha)神父獲選為頓涅茨克總教區輔理主教

【慈幼通訊社 ─ 2022 年9月 19 日梵蒂岡訊】 ─ 烏克蘭希臘禮天主教會,選出慈幼會會士麥先神父,為頓涅茨克總教區輔理主教,而教宗亦同意賜他為領銜Stefaniacum主教。

麥先主教於1980年5月18日出生於利沃夫。他於1998年加入慈幼會,在Pinerolo初學,並於1999年9月8日矢發初願;接著於2005年8月19日在利沃夫宣發終身聖願,並於2007年8月4日在利沃夫晉鐸。

完成初期培育後,他在慈幼宗座大學完成神哲學課程。此外,他亦於基輔社區大學接受人事管理培訓,更獲取利沃夫理工大學學校行政碩士學位,以及Transcarpathia國立大學社會教育碩士學位。

他曾擔任的服務,包括利沃夫Pokrov天主之母堂區教理學校的負責人、基輔金口聖若望堂區的主任司鐸、基輔希臘禮天主教牧職大學校長、駐烏克蘭教廷大使聯絡人、基輔希臘禮天主教總神學院教育學導師。

在慈幼團體層面,他曾任利沃夫團體 (2007-2010)及Vynnyky團體 (2010-2011) 慶禮院院長、第聶伯羅的財務長及院長(2014-2015),並自2018年起至今,擔任基輔會院的財務長及院長。

在地域層面來說,他曾任國家東部的青年牧民委員 (2009-2012),希臘禮天主教烏克蘭「進教之佑」準會省的培育委員及副省會長(2018-2021),聖召委員及慈幼家庭修會代理(2020-2021)。

Salesian Fr. Maksim Ryabukha elected auxiliary bishop of Archepiscopal Exarchate of Donetsk

(ANS – VaticanVatican City, 19 September 2022) – The Synod of Bishops of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church has elected Fr. Maksim Ryabukha, SDB, as Auxiliary Bishop of the Archepiscopal Exarchate of Donetsk, to whom the Holy Father has granted His Assent, assigning him the titular See of Stefaniacum.

Bishop Maksim Ryabukha was born on 18 May 1980 in Lviv. In 1998 he entered the Society of St. Francis de Sales, attending the novitiate at Pinerolo, where he made his first profession on Sept. 8, 1999; he then made his perpetual profession in Lviv on Aug. 19, 2005, and received priestly ordination on Aug. 4, 2007, also in Lviv.

After initial formation, he completed his studies in Philosophy and Theology at the Pontifical Salesian University (UPS). In addition, he also trained in Human Resource Management at the Interregional Academy in Kyiv, as well as obtaining a Master’s Degree in School Administration from the Lviv Polytechnic University and a Master’s Degree in Social Pedagogy from the National University of Transcarpathia.

His many roles include Director of the School of Catechetics at Pokrov Parish of the Holy Mother of God in Lviv, Administrator of St. John Chrysostom Parish in Kyiv, head of University Pastoral Ministry of the Archeparchy of Kyiv, Local Collaborator of the Apostolic Nunciature in Ukraine, Teacher of Pedagogy at the Greek-Catholic Major Seminary in Kyiv.

At the level of Salesian communities, he was Rector of the Oratory of the Lviv community (2007-2010) and Vynnyky (2010-2011), Rector and Economer in Dnipro (2014-2015) and, from 2018 to the present, Rector and Economer of the Kyiv house.

At the circumscription level, he served as National Delegate for Youth Ministry for the then Eastern Circumscription (2009-2012), and for the Vice Province “Mary Help of Christians” of Greek Catholic Ukraine (UKR), Delegate for Formation and Vicar (2018-2021), Delegate for Vocations Ministry and Salesian Family (2020-2021).
