【慈幼通訊社 ─ 2010 年 8 月 20日美國紐約訊】 ─ 八月十三日，紐約舉行聯合國青年國會會議，三百名來自世界各地的青年，共同發表一則稱為大憲章的文件，該文件結合了很多青少年的心血，花上多年才完成的。

Zenit 通訊社發佈了上述大憲章文件的撮要內容，並播出了這個聯合國盛大的場合，來自超過二十個南北美洲、歐洲、非洲及亞洲國家的青年參與其中。

這個論壇於一九八零年由 Femando Rielo 創立，他也是「依祂特使」(Identes)傳教士學院及「依祂特使」青年組織轄下的傳教士「依祂特使」 的創辦人。這一年，在 Fernando Rielo 基金，以及紐約聖約翰大學及厄瓜多爾洛哈科技大學的促進下，號召「依祂特使」青年。

在論壇主要部份，宣讀了「依祂特使」主席 Jesus Fernandez Hermandez 的信息；他在信息中邀請青年，以愛及友誼，去除各民族及國家中的障礙，他亦強調大憲章的主要範疇，在於以耶穌為榜樣，在生活中活出這些價值。

接著，榮休的紐約總主教Edward Egan樞機，讚揚青年編寫大憲章，作為建立現代社會的工具及參照。洛哈科技大學的院長兼校長 Jose Barbosa 教授，強調大憲章中所表達的理念與願景，正是以青年為主導而編寫成的。

大憲章文件主要由十項要點組成，青年按他們所願，編寫第三千年中所要構建的社會，以克服戰爭、襲擊生命、飢荒、不義、失業及環境問題。

文件建議改善生活的原則，縱使人們之間有重大分歧，也要渴望改善人類關係的不同範疇：人際關係、家庭、政治、經濟、環境、教育及社會網絡。

世界青年國會會議，堅決要向社會各範疇（政治、宗教等），宣揚這封信函，其目的無非是要作為世界各單一國家，編寫憲法的參照。

Young people from all over the world presented to the UN a Charta Magna of Values

 (ANS –United States –New York, 20 August 2010) –on the 13 August, at the United Nations in New York the World Youth Parliament gathered together. 300 young people from all over the world presented a valuable document in the so-called Charta Magna of Values for a New Civilization, and the document is fruit the hard work of many young people that compiled it for many years.

The news agency Zenit presented a summary of the contents of the above mentioned Charta Magna as well as of the ceremony at the premises of UN that gathered many young people from more than 20 countries from North and South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

This forum was created in 1980 by Fernando Rielo, also founder of the Institute ID of Missionaries and Missionaries Identes of the Identes Youth”, which this year has called upon the Identes Youth, under the initiative of the Fernando Rielo Foundation, and of the St. John’s University of New York and the Technical University of Loja (Ecuador).

During the main session, the message of the president of “Identes Youth’, Jesus Fernandez Hermandez was read; in the message he invited young people to remove the barriers existing between peoples and nations, by means of love and friendship, he also underlined that the main scope of the Charta Magna is to have Jesus as the model of a life lived up according to values.

In turn, Cardinal Edward Egan, emeritus archbishop of New York, praised the idea of young people in drafting a Charta Magna of Values as a tool and point of reference to build a modern society. The Rector-Chancellor of the Technical University of Loja, Prof. Jose Barbosa, emphasized that the ideals and wishes expressed in the Charta involve in the first place the young people themselves as authors of the document.

The Charta Magna of Values is a document made-up mainly of ten points, in which the young people drafted the type of society they wish to build in this third millennium, in order to overcome problems such as war, attacks against life, famine, injustice, unemployment, and environmental problems.

The document suggests principles for a better living, even when there is a great diversity of people, in the desire to improve the various fields of human relations: interpersonal relationships, family, politics, economy, environment, education and social network.

The World Youth Parliament is resolute to spread this letter to all the spheres of society: politics, religion, etc, with the only purpose of making of it a point of reference for the drafting of Constitutions of single nations worldwide.
