The Salesian Information Agency will offer the entire Salesian Family several channels of communication and information on the Chapter which is "the supreme authority" in the Congregation (Article 120 of the Constitutions). There are many ways to follow what is happening in the Chapter, which aims to be, first of all and at every level, a witness of evangelical radicalism. ANS, as the organ of communication of the congregation, will be the regular channel for the dissemination of news on GC27. Every day we will publish news, insights and interviews in the six languages in which ANS provides daily information - with priority given to Italian, English and Spanish. All materials published on the site will be sent promptlyon the newsletter to all subscribers. Those wishing to enrol are asked simply to fill out the formprovided. All the official photos of the Chapter will be available for download in the IMAGE BANK. During GC27 the monthly ANSFoto service will include special editions dedicated to the Chapter. The six Twitter profiles that ANS has been providing since June 2012 in Italian, English, Spanish,French, Portugueseand Polish, will be updated in real time. To facilitate the search for information on the Chapter and their diffusion also among people who do not normally follow Salesian news, we have created the hashtag #CG27 - which will accompany all tweets related to the Chapter in all the languages of ANS. Another channel of communication will be the official SDB site, which in addition to reporting materials published by ANS, will also carry documents, reports and official texts of the GC27 . Among other communication initiatives for the GC27, there is also, in Italian, the project "Con i tuoi occhi (with your eyes)." It is a series of videos that will be made by young people from the Salesian Youth Cinema Circles and some students of the Faculty of Social Communications of the Salesian Pontifical University, in which the young people will offer their perspective on the GC27.The videos will be posted on the Facebook page "Salesiani Don Bosco Italia." At the end of GC27 the Social Communication Department, in collaboration with Don Bosco Missions, will produce a DVD that will aim to present what happened at the Chapter and to facilitate the dissemination of the work of the Chapter. These channels of information will enable the Salesian Family to keep up to date on what is happening in the 27th General Chapter of the Salesians of Don Bosco. |
