【慈幼通訊社 ─ 2016 年 07月 08 日羅馬慈幼總部訊】 ─ 在波蘭克拉科夫舉行的第31屆世界青年日（2016年7月26至31日），日漸臨近。本屆青年日主題為「憐憫人的人是有福的，因為他們要受憐憫 (瑪5：7)」。主題中的牧民精神與青年喜樂，與7月27日舉行的世界慈幼青年日十分匹配。
世界慈幼青年日為世界青年日慶典的一部份。這將為所有青年提供一個平台，讓他們在鄰人中與天主相遇，與其他懷著同一份神修的青年，分享他們的生命及才能。
為能使這聚會帶給青年真正的成果，籌委會與慈幼青年牧民部及母佑會合作，籌辦兩項活動 ─ 世界慈幼青年運動專題討論會及世界慈幼青年運動慶典。慈幼會總會長范達民神父及母佑會總會長溫幗儀修母，均會出席以上兩項活動。
專題討論會將於早上舉行，由四名來自不同國家的人士主持，包括一名慈幼會士、一名母佑會修女及兩名慈幼青年運動代表，到場參與者約有300人。在這場聚會中，青年將分享他們的經歷及見證，並思考如何在日常生活中活出慈幼青年精神。
慶典將於下午至晚上，在克拉科夫世博會場舉行，並以晚上進行的神修活動結束，其中以朝拜聖體作為高峰。最後，一如在華道角舉行的世界慈幼青年2015，由總會長及母佑會修母主持「祝夜安」。

World Youth Day 2016 and SYM World Day
(ANS - RMG –Roma, 08 July 2016) – The 31st World Youth Day in Krakow, Poland (26 to 31 July 2016) is getting closer. The theme is: "Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy" (Mt 5,7). Its pastoral spirit and youthful joy make it a perfect fit with the World Day of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) which will be celebrated on July 27.
The SYM World Day is part of the celebrations of World Youth Day. It will provide a common platform for all the young participants to meet God in their neighbour and to share their lives and talents with other young people who have the same spirituality.
To make this meeting truly fruitful for all, the organizing committee, in collaboration with the Departments of Youth Ministry of the Salesians (SDB) and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (FMA), is preparing two events - the SYM Forum and an SYM Festival. Both events will be attended by Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, Rector Major of the SDB, and Mother Yvonne Reungoat, Mother General of the FMA.
The Forum will take place in the morning and will be attended by four people from each country - one SDB and one FMA plus two SYM representatives. In total there will be about 300 people. During this meeting the young people will share experiences and testimonials, thinking about how to live the daily life of the Salesian Youth Spirituality.
The Festival will take place in the afternoon and evening at the ground of the EXPO Fair in Krakow, and will end with an evening of spirituality that will have its climax with the adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, and finally, as at Valdocco for the SYM DON BOSCO 2015, there will be the "Good Night" by the Rector Major and the Mother General of the FMA.
