This is a
little book that will introduce you to a great friend, Don Bosco. He
is a friend of yours, simply because you are young. He often said,
"That you are young is enough to make me love you very much". ......
...... Don
Bosco saw the future of his work in his dreams: chances are that he
saw you and me too. Before dying he wrote something about China as
if he hand been there. He wrote that the Salesians would go to China
and serve the young, and that God would show great wonders to the
world.
As we approach
the Centenary of the arrival of the first Salesian Fathers and
Brothers in China (1906), I would like to offer this little book to
you, my dear young people, to let you know that you have a great
friend in heaven. Don Bosco worked wonders with the young in his own
time. He now wants to do the same for you.
