【慈幼通訊社—2009年4月22日莫斯科訊】總會長到訪這個「瑪利亞無玷聖心」慈幼會東歐特別區域的第一天，以在莫斯科主教座堂，由慈幼會會士主持的感恩祭開始。
感恩祭過後，總會長與東歐區域會省議會舉行會議，直到中午過後才結束。會省拜占庭烏克蘭禮代表 Onorino Pistellato 神父，亦有出席
會議。
會議結束後，總會長查偉思神父偕同副總會長白康寧神父，到訪莫斯科 Fili 區的慈幼會街童收容中心。他們先向中心職員致候，並觀看了一場青少年表演，表演者來自收容中心及主教座堂堂區，稍後，總會長與東歐區域慈幼大家庭各團體的議會見面。
22/4/2009 - Russia – Visit of the Rector Major to Moscow
(ANS – Moscow) – The first day of the visit of the Rector Major to the “Immaculate Conception of Mary” Special Circumscription of East Europe (EST) began with Mass in the Catholic Cathedral in Moscow led by the Salesians.
This was followed by a meeting with the Provincial Council of the EST Circumscription which lasted into the middle of the afternoon. Fr Onorino Pistellato, Provincial Delegate for the Byzantine-Ukraine Rite also took part.
When this was finished, accompanied by his Vicar Fr Adriano Bregolin, Fr Pascual Chávez went to the Salesian centre in the Fili district in Moscow, which is a reception centre for street children. After greeting the staff and attending a performance put on by the youngsters from the centre and from the Cathedral parish, the Rector Major met the Councils of the various groups of the Salesian Family in the EST Circumscription.
