鮑思高網絡(DBN)

 

 參與第四屆「歐洲發展日」論壇

【慈幼通訊社 20091026日瑞典斯德哥爾摩訊】 2009年歐洲發展日,於十月二十二至二十四日舉行,鮑思高網絡(DBN)的參與,再次顯示七個慈幼會非政府組織,都有意與其他類似的組織,建立對話關係,共同謀求發展。

歐洲委員會與歐盟瑞典首長,共同舉辦這個活動,建立一個主要的對話平台,讓不同的政府組織、聯合國機構、國際非政府組織、傳媒、政府代表及諾貝爾和平獎得主,共同分享有關彼此發展及互相合作問題的資訊。

鮑思高網絡的特色是平信徒與修道者之間的緊密合作,是次論壇由主席Milly Grillone先生,以及副主席Meinolf von Spee神父代表出席。網絡亦設立了攤位,展示網絡所涵蓋的非政府組織,以及相關的活動,特別是「為南非奪魁」及「探索蘇丹」,參觀者包括不同國籍及年齡的人士。

其中包括一項名為「足球:達成八項目標的球」的展覽,展示運動與遊戲,在青少年全人發展中扮演的特殊角色,深受參與者的關注,使他們更關顧該網絡的「千禧年八個發展目標」。此外,鮑思高網絡還發表有關預防教育法和人權,以及義工服務的演說,為使參與者認識新世界,並增進人性及靈性經驗。 

 

The Don Bosco Network (DBN) at the 4th “European Development Days” Forum

 (ANS – Sweden Stockholm, 26 October 2009 ) – The presence of the DBN at the 2009 European development Days, held in Stockholm between 22 and 24 October, showed once again the interest and the capacity for dialogue and relationships with others similarly involved in development of the 7 Salesian NGO.

The European Commission, in cooperation with the Swedish Presidency of the EU, organised this event to create what has now become the major platform for dialogue and the sharing of information on questions of development and international cooperation among Government organisations, the United Nations Agencies, international NGO, the media, representatives of Governments and Nobel Peace Prize Laureates.

The DBN, whose particular characteristic is that of the close collaboration between lay people and religious was represented  at the Forum by the Director, Milly Grillone and the Vice- President, Fr Meinolf von Spee. The Network also had a stand there which was visited by a number  of  people of different nationalities and ages and which illustrated the NGO belonging to it, and their particular activities  - with special reference to the projects “Champions for South Africa” and “Discover Sudan”.

Considerable attention was given to the special role sport and games can have in the all-round development o the young – a subject dealt with in the exhibition “Football – a ball for 8 goals”, which is aimed at drawing attention to the eight 8 Development Goals of the Millennium. In addition DBN was able to present the issue of the Preventive System and Human Rights as well as the idea of Voluntary Service, both as a means of getting to know new worlds and as a human and spiritual experience.
