四月十三日星期二,埃武拉的聖若瑟慶禮院,舉行了記者會,報導了第十八屆運動會,將包括不同的項目,並有藝術表演環節。 每年,這個活動均吸引了來自國內慈幼會及母佑會的中心,約一千五百名參賽者及他們的教練到來。活動每年於不同地方舉行,本年度將於埃武拉的聖若瑟慶禮院舉行。 出席記者會的人士,包括一些記者及運動界代表。埃武拉慶禮院院長 José Jorge Morais Gomes 神父及校長 Sebastião Sena Coelho 神父,向出席者解說運動會的架構及不同項目的抽籤程序。 本屆運動會的格言為 Vence-te para vencermos,這句葡萄牙語作了些文字遊戲,就是告訴參賽者,個體的克制能達至整體的獲勝。十三隊參賽隊伍,十隊來自慈幼會,三隊來自母佑會,他們角逐足球、籃球、排球、乒乓球及游泳項目。
The XVIII Salesian National Games (ANS –Portugal –Evora, 16 April 2010 ) – As in every year so also in 2010 the Salesians and the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians in Portugal are organising the Salesian National Games, to be held between 29 April and 2 May. On Tuesday 13 April, at the “Saint Joseph” Oratory in Evora, there was a Press Conference to present the XVIII Games which include competitions in various disciplines and also artistic demonstrations. Every year these events bring together about 1500 competitors and their coaches from Salesian and FMA centres in the country. Hosted each year in a different place, this year’s Games will be held at the “Saint Joseph” Oratory in Evora. Present at the Press Conference were some journalists and representatives of the sporting delegations taking part. The organisation of the Games and some draws for various competitions were explained by Rector of Evora, Fr José Jorge Morais Gomes, and the Principal Fr Sebastião Sena Coelho. The motto for these Games - “Vence-te para vencermos” – in Portuguese a play on words suggesting to the competitors that teams win when individuals control themselves. The disciplines are football, basketball, volleyball, tabletennis and swimming and will be contested by 13 teams, 10 from Salesian centres and 3 from those of the FMA. The Games open on Thursday 29 at the Temple of Diana and from there there will be a procession to the Evora Arena, where a show will be put on by the members of the “Saint Joseph” Oratory. Other artistic presentations are planned for the evenings of 30 April and 1 May to be attended by all the teams. The closing ceremony will be held on 2 May after Mass in the School Sports’ Hall. |
