【慈幼通訊社 ─ 2012 年 6 月 6 日蒙古達爾汗訊】 ─ 5月最後一天，5月31日星期四，位於達爾汗的聖母進教之佑新聖堂舉行祝聖儀式，為紀念蒙古天主教事業20週年。在祝聖儀式舉行的同時，10名慈幼協進會會員宣發他們一生的許諾。

大清早，堂區於已展開預備工作：裝飾聖堂，練習歌詠和禱文。早上11時，烏蘭巴托監牧聖母聖心會士黃旭東主教，蒞臨聖堂。

參與共祭的有隸屬越南會省的蒙古會省代表，越南會省省會長Joseph Tran Hoa Hung神父、院長暨達爾汗市堂區主任司鐸梁幹潮神父，以及其他司鐸。此外，還有很多當地信眾，及一些來自香港的慈幼會士及恩人，參與典禮。

在彌撒中，主教提及5月31日聖母訪親瞻禮，並與新聖堂祝聖典禮相提並論，表示：「天主探訪祂的子民。」

講道後，主教為9名青年施放堅振聖事，並見證著10名經過兩年準備期的平信徒，許諾成為慈幼協進會會員。接著舉行祭台及整所聖堂的祝聖禮，6名共祭神父為聖堂6根柱子舉行祝福禮。

彌撒完結時，省會長向主教致謝，並感謝所有以任何方式，援助聖堂籌建工作，以及達彌汗市基督徒團體事業的人。接著，他向主教及來賓，致送富蒙古特色的聖母進教之佑聖像，聖像是當地藝術家，特地為蒙古天主教事業20週年 (1992 / 2012) 而設計的。

當天慶典以團體活動結束。

The consecration of a new church dedicated to Mary Help of Christians

(ANS - Mongolia –Darkhan City, 6 June 2012) – On the last day of May Thursday 31 in Darkhan City a new church dedicated to Mary Help of Christians was consecrated, commemorating the twenty years of a Catholic presence in the country. Adding to its solemnity there were  also Confirmations and 10 Salesians-Cooperators made their Life Promise.

Parishioners began the preparations early in the morning, decorating the church, practising the hymns and praying. At 11.00 Bishop  Wenceslao Selga Padilla CICM, Prefect Apostolic of Ulaanbaatar arrived.

Concelebrating with him were Fr Joseph Tran Hoa Hung, the Provincial of Vietnam – to which the Provincial Delegation of Mongolia belongs,  Fr Paul Leung, Rector and parish priest of Darkhan City and various other priests. Among the congregation many of the local faithful and also some Salesians and benefactors from Hong Kong.

During the Mass the Bishop referred to the liturgical feast of the Visitation of Mary celebrated on 31 May, and drawing the parallel with the consecration of the new church: “God is visiting his people.”

After the homily the Bishop confirmed 9 young people and then 10 lay people after a 2 year preparation period made their promise as Salesians-Cooperators. This was followed by the consecration of the altar and of the whole church; 6 of the concelebrants blessed the 6 columns of the church building.

At the end of Mass the Provincial thanked the Bishop and all those who in whatever way had helped in the building of the church and of the Christian community in Darkhan City. He then gave the Bishop and some of the other guests a statue of Mary Help of Christians in a Mongolian-style design made by a local artist to celebrate the 20 anniversary of the Catholic presence in the country (1992/2012).

The day ended with a social event.
