聖鮑思高瞻禮日下午，30個慈幼大家庭組別的總長上齊集於華道角，檢視並實踐強化彼此關係的方法。

在總會長宣佈委任Eusebio Muñoz Ruiz神父為其在慈幼大家庭秘書處的代理後，40名參與者前往畢納地小堂舉行共融宣言，並表示他們是屬於鮑思高神父、慈幼大家庭及教會的。這儀式有其重要性，因應一連串的事件，鮑思高神父與他的青年於1846年聚在一起，開設慶禮院時，也進行這個儀式。總會長說：「我們的青年要成長的話，他們有需要離開父親，但我們卻不是這樣，我們的各個組織能達到的程度，實有賴於我們意識到鮑思高神父是我們的父親。」
慈幼大家庭團體的代表齊集一起，商討強化彼此關係的方法。使能在無須增加非必要聚會次數的情況下，實現加強彼此的聯繫。每一個國家必須要找出方法，使慈幼大家庭成員更團結共融。接著，與會者前往聖母大殿，與信友及慈幼青年運動一起，參與由范達民神父主持的感恩聖祭。
總會長講道的重點，在於鮑思高神父原初的形象：「在艱辛的日子裡，他猶如織布工人，把天主與祂的子民交織在一起，同時也使兄弟姊妹交織在一起。」他亦表示：「鮑思高真的不平凡，然而我們每人都能效法他。只有天主才是真正偉大！」
Salesian Family meet to discuss ways of strengthening the bonds between them
(ANS - RMG –Turin, 01 February 2015) –On the afternoon of the Feast of Don Bosco the major superiors of the 30 groups of the Salesian Family gathered in Valdocco to examine and practise ways of strengthening the ties that unite them.

After the Rector Major announced the appointment of Fr Eusebio Muñoz Ruiz as his delegate to the Secretariat of the Salesian Family (v. News), the 40 participants went to the Pinardi Chapel to make a profession of communion and belonging to Don Bosco, the Salesian Family and the Church. It was significant that, due to a number of circumstances, this ceremony took place in the place where Don Bosco gathered with his boys in 1846 to open his oratory. "We are not teenagers who need to distance themselves from their father if they are to grow," said the Rector Major. "Quite the opposite - our institutions can grow to the extent that we become aware of having Don Bosco as our father."
The representatives of the groups of the Salesian Family met to discuss ways of strengthening the bonds between them. This needs to be done without multiplying unnecessarily the number of meetings. Ways must be found in each country to bring the members of the Salesian Family into closer harmony. The participants then went into the Basilica to join the faithful and the Salesian Youth Movement in the Eucharistic celebration presided over by Fr Ángel Fernández Artime.
In his homily, the Rector Major focused on an original definition of Don Bosco: "In a difficult time, he was a weaver of alliances not only between God and his people but also among the brothers and sisters of the people." He added: "He was really extraordinary, but so can each of us be. God alone is truly great!
