教宗於6月21至22日到訪都靈，行程十分緊湊。在這次旅程中，教宗有很多機會接觸市內不同社會界別的人士，包括工人、青年、修道者、囚犯、外來移民、病弱者、其他宗派的基督徒……當然，適逢鮑思高誕生二百周年，他的行程有以下兩大目的：參觀聖殮布及到訪鮑思高神父的故鄉。
對慈幼大家庭來說，教宗到訪最受注目的活動，將會是於6月21日主日下午，在聖母進教之佑大殿舉行的會面。教宗將於當日下午3時，離開憂苦之慰大殿，前來鮑思高神父的祭壇作私人祈禱。
在群眾詠唱一曲後，將會向耶穌聖體祈禱，接著，一名男高音歌唱家將詠唱聖母經。鮑思高第十位繼承人，總會長范達民神父，將官式迎接教宗，並向他致送禮物。
然後，教宗將發表講話，並以聖母進教之佑降福結束。教宗離開大殿後，將向慈幼會及教區慶禮院的青年領袖、意大利慶禮院論壇代表、義務工作者、在職人士、慈幼大家庭成員及鮑思高之友致候。整個活動預計於意大利時間下午4時完結。
然而，整個到訪之旅，將時刻與慈幼世界保持緊密聯繫──無他的，只因在鮑思高誕辰二百周年，及在都靈舉行的緣故。6月21日主日，教宗將與Ferrante Aporti青年監獄的囚犯共進午餐。自監獄於1845年啟用以來，差不多所有牧靈主任都是慈幼會士。現任牧靈主任為慈幼會Domenico Ricca神父。
下午，在聖母之教之佑大殿及Cottolengo聖殿稍作停留後，教宗將前往Piazza Vittorio（勝利廣場），與來自多個慶禮院，參與慶禮院生及青年聚會的青年會面。這個活動是由教區及慈幼青年牧民隊伍合辦的。這個「小型世界青年日」，是為了帶領青年，去發掘慈幼神恩的一個特質──教育情懷。這個活動安排於6月19至21日舉行，以配合教宗的到訪。
Programme for the Pope’s Trip to Turin
(ANS - Italy –Turin, 16 June 2015) – The Pope has a heavy schedule for his forthcoming trip to Turin (21-22 June). There will be opportunities for him to meet people from all the social sectors of the city - the world of work, young people, religious, prisoners, migrants, the sick, Christians of other confessions ... and of course time dedicated to the two main reasons for the visit: veneration of the Shroud and homage to Don Bosco, in the year of the bicentenary of his birth.
For the Salesian Family the most interesting event of the papal visit will be the meeting with the Pope in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians, scheduled for the afternoon of Sunday 21 June.The Holy Father will arrive from the Shrine of the Consolata at 3.00 p.m. and will go to the altar of Don Bosco for a moment of personal prayer.
After a song by the assembly there will be a prayer to Jesus in the Eucharist, followed by the Ave Maria sung by a tenor. Then the Rector Major and Tenth Successor of Don Bosco, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime, will officially welcome the Pope and will give him a gift.
The Holy Father will then speak and will conclude his address with the blessing of Mary Help of Christians. Leaving the basilica, the Pope will greet the young leaders of the Salesian and Diocesan Oratories, representatives of the Forum of Italian Oratories and many volunteers, employees, members of the Salesian Family and friends of Don Bosco. The programme will end around 4.00 p.m. (Italian time).
However the whole trip will touch the Salesian world closely - it could not be otherwise, in Turin, in the Bicentenary Year. On Sunday 21 June, the Pope will have lunch with the inmates of the Ferrante Aporti juvenile prison. Since it opened in 1845, almost all its chaplains have been Salesians. The present chaplain is Fr Domenico Ricca, SDB.
In the afternoon, after a stop at the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians and another at the church of Cottolengo, the Pope will travel to Piazza Vittorio for a meeting with the young people from the oratories participating in a gathering called ’“Happening degli Oratori e dei giovani” (sic). It is organized jointly by the Diocesan and Salesian Youth Ministry teams. This is a "mini-World Youth Day" designed to lead young people to the discovery of one of the characteristics of the Salesian charism, a passion for education. It is being organized to coincide with the papal visit (June 19-20-21).
