Salesian Technical School Tainan, Taiwan, 22 December 2020 — Merry Christmas! During this special year 2020 we are accustomed to so many video messages. A humble video Christmas wishes by our three ‘home aspirants’ who sing the ‘Holy Night’ song makes a lot of noise on the net, but brings a very meaningful message to the Salesian Family.

Three young men: from left John Baptist (21, military service, Don Bosco Past Pupil), Augustine (19, grade 12 student, Salesian Technical school) and John (19, grade 12 student, public school) are our ‘house aspirants’ coming to our community in Tainan twice every week. This experience was started by Fr. Thomas Hsueh in 2017, when he was a vocation promoter in Taiwan.

These three young Catholics call themselves a “Vocation Group”: since they learn together how to discern their call from God (Vocation) and on the other hand they also help to promote a vocation culture in general and Salesian vocations in a specific way.

This simple three minute ‘music’ video was produced with an idea of link with Jesus Christ’s coming at Christmas and vocation search. Although the song is in Chinese, anybody can enjoy it!
