【慈幼通訊社 ─ 2025 年03月26 日意大利都靈訊】 ─ 鮑思高慈幼會第29屆全會代表大會選出斯德望・馬道力神父（Fr. Stefano Martoglio）為副總會長，確認他繼續擔任上一屆全會代表大會已委任的職務。選舉於上午 10 時 45 分在華道角（Valdocco）的會議廳內舉行，與會者以熱烈的掌聲歡迎這次選舉的結果。
根據《鮑思高慈幼會會憲》，副總會長是總會長在領導修會時的第一位協作者，並擁有恆常的代理權。在總會長缺席或無法履行職務時，副總會長將代其執行職務。他特別被託付關注修會會士的生活與紀律。
馬道力神父於 1965 年 11 月 30 日在都靈出生，現年 59 歲。他於 1984 年進入位於Pinerolo的Monteoliveto初學院，於 1985 年 9 月 8 日在都靈的進教之佑大殿發初願；1992 年 9 月 27 日於鮑思高新堡（Castelnuovo Don Bosco）矢發永願; 並於1994 年 6 月 11 日，在都靈晉鐸。
他曾在會中擔任 Pinerolo 和 San Domenico Savio 工作的指導老師，並於 2004 年成為母院—華道角—的院長。
2008 年，他被委任為比哀蒙與Valle d’Aosta（ICP）特別區的省會長。他曾參與第25屆全會代表大會，亦是第27屆全會代表大會的前期籌備委員會成員。
馬道力神父於 2014 年第 27 屆全會代表大會中首次進入總部議會，被選為當時新設立的地中海區域（由「意大利-中東」與「西歐」兩區合併而成）的地區議員。
在 2020 年第28屆全會代表大會中，他首次被選為副總會長。自 2024 年 8 月 17 日起，因前總會長范達民神父（Ángel Fernández Artime） 被教廷任命為樞機主教，他便依據會憲，代行總會長職務至本屆全會代表大會為止。
Fr. Stefano Martoglio Confirmed as Vicar of the Rector Major
(ANS – Italy–Turin, 26 March 2025) – The 29th General Chapter of the Society of St. Francis de Sales elected Fr. Stefano Martoglio as the Vicar of the Rector Major, confirming him in the role already entrusted to him by the previous Chapter. The election took place at 10:45 a.m., and a long and warm round of applause in the Teatro Grande of Valdocco welcomed the outcome of the vote.
According to the Salesian Constitutions, the Vicar is the first collaborator of the Rector Major in the governance of the Society and has ordinary vicarious authority. He acts in place of the Rector Major when absent or impeded. He is particularly entrusted with the care of religious life and discipline.
Fr. Stefano Martoglio was born on November 30, 1965, in Turin and is currently 59 years old. He entered the “Monteoliveto” Novitiate in Pinerolo in 1984 and made his first vows in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Turin on September 8, 1985, and his perpetual vows on September 27, 1992, in Castelnuovo Don Bosco. He was ordained as a priest in Turin on June 11, 1994.
He has served the Salesian community as a Counselor for the Pinerolo work and for the San Domenico Savio work in Valdocco, before becoming, in 2004, the Rector of the Mother House of the Congregation, also in Valdocco.
In 2008, he was appointed Superior of the Special Circumscription of Piedmont and Valle d’Aosta (ICP).
He participated in the 25th General Chapter and was part of the pre-chapter commission of the 27th General Chapter.
It was the 27th General Chapter of 2014 that brought him for the first time into the General Council, electing him Regional Councillor for the newly established Mediterranean Region, created by that Chapter through the merger of the two previous Regions, Italy-Middle East and West Europe.
At the 28th General Chapter in 2020, he was elected for the first time as Vicar of the Rector Major, and by virtue of this role, he led the Salesian Congregation from August 17, 2024, until this General Chapter, in accordance with the timeframes agreed upon by the Holy See following the nomination of Rector Major Ángel Fernández Artime as Cardinal.
