【慈幼通訊社－2026年1月22日都靈】－繼往年受總會長贈言啟發而創作的聖曲廣受好評後，慈幼家庭將於2026年迎來一首新聖曲：「他無論吩咐你們甚麼，你們就作甚麼。」（Do whatever he tell you），這首聖曲由聖母進教之佑大殿的指揮Maurizio Palazzo神父創作。它將作為官方歌曲，在2026年1月15日至18日於華道角舉辦的第44屆慈幼家庭神修日中使用，伴隨著祈禱、反思和慶祝的時刻。
這首聖曲以音樂和詩句詮釋了2026年總會長贈言，回顧其核心主題：信靠天主聖言、永不落空的希望，以及福音中空石缸被盛滿新生命的意象。由Palazzo神父親自創作的義大利文歌詞，邀請我們以聆聽、溫良和服務的態度，與慈幼精神完全融合，並特別關注青年和最貧困的人。
為了鼓勵傳播國際性，聖曲已翻譯成多種語言，感謝多位慈幼會會士的合作：Manolo Jimenéz神父（西班牙語）、Mike Pace神父（英語）、Adolphe-Marie Akpoué神父（法語）和Gilson Marcos da Silva神父（葡萄牙語），具體展現了慈幼家庭的普世性。
這個項目得以實現，有賴眾多合作者的慷慨支持，他們充分發揮自己的才華。音樂編排由Maurizio Palazzo神父與Gian Paolo Guercio共同完成，Gian Paolo Guercio同時在Sound Sistemi Recording Studio進行音效製作和混音。由Francesca Incardona和Loris Striglia演唱，Katia Fiorito為其製作影片。

Italy – ‘Do whatever he tells you’: a new hymn inspired by the 2026 Strenna
(ANS – Turin) – Following the positive response in previous years to hymns inspired by the Rector Major’s Strenna, the Salesian Family can count on a new hymn in 2026: “Do whatever he tells you”, composed by Fr Maurizio Palazzo, Maestro di capella (Chapel Master) at the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians in Valdocco. The hymn was used as the official anthem during the 44th Salesian Family Spirituality Days held in Valdocco (Turin) from 15 to 18 January, accompanying the moments of prayer, reflection and celebration of this important charismatic event.
The hymn was written as a musical and poetic translation of the Strenna 2026, recalling its central themes: trust in the Word of the Lord, hope that does not disappoint, and the gospel image of empty jars filled with new life. The Italian text, written by Fr Palazzo himself, invites us to an attitude of listening, docility and service, in full harmony with the Salesian charism and with a privileged attention to young people and the poorest.
To encourage international dissemination, the hymn has been translated into several languages thanks to the collaboration of various Salesians: Fr Manolo Jimenéz (Spanish), Fr Mike Pace (English), Fr Adolphe-Marie Akpoué (French) and Fr Gilson Marcos da Silva (Portuguese), a concrete expression of the universal dimension of the Salesian Family.
The project was made possible thanks to the contribution of numerous collaborators who generously put their talents to good use. The musical arrangement was handled by Fr Maurizio Palazzo together with Gian Paolo Guercio, who also oversaw the production and mixing at Sound Sistemi Recording Studio. The vocals are by Francesca Incardona and Loris Striglia, while the accompanying video was created by Katia Fiorito.
A Salesian priest and musician of recognised value, Fr Maurizio Palazzo, SDB, trained at the Conservatory of Turin and has a degree in Modern Literature. Author of numerous liturgical compositions widely used in ecclesiastical circles – including Hic est Domus mea – and of the book Per il Vangelo delle Domeniche (Elledici), he also composed the well-known musical about Don Bosco for the bicentenary of the saint’s birth. His work combines artistic quality, spiritual depth and pastoral commitment, placing music at the service of the liturgy, young people and the Salesian mission.
